BEING VISIBLE

An arts-led inclusive approach will connect and galvanise LGBTQIA* residents in Barking & Dagenham to have agency, and visibility, within safe spaces for reflection and celebration. Led by local artist Matty May, the programme includes bi-annual parties and a series of informal exchange get-togethers for local people. Guest artists, speakers, activists, and workshop activities will be weaved into the exchange programme, in line with issues and artforms that the group are keen to explore, experience or learn more about.
